During the summer of 2002 the Church house underwent a major renovation. the
house can boast the following features:
- Ground Floor Conference Room; Seats for an audience of around 24 people,
Overhead projector, TV/video, Flipchart and White board

- Ground Floor Disabled Toilet
- Ground Floor Chapel; Audio system, seats for congregation of around 22
people. The altar furniture a designed and made especially for the project.
- Ground Floor Dining room; chairs and table to seat around 24 people
- Ground Floor Kitchen; Microwave, Oven/hob, sink, cupboards, urn and tea &
coffee making facilities
- Church Level Committee Room; 14 seats around a 4 units making a large
meeting table, TV/Video, White board, Kitchenette with tea/coffee making
facilities and sink.
- Church Level Disabled Toilet and Standard toilet, accessible from the
Church via the Vestry
- Church Level Office; includes Large replication/photocopier, PC, Scanner,
Printer and Laminator
- Church Level Meeting Room; Currently used by the Children's Liturgy group
on Sunday Mornings. Has a white board and could be also be used as syndicate
room
- Upper level Apartment ideal for visiting clergy; bedroom, sitting
room/office and shower

Additional Information
The House renovation project was funded solely by St. Joseph’s parish
- It is hoped that these new facilities will in bringing funds into the
parish to offset the outlay
- Success of course depends all of us supporting the activities
- Spreading the news is vital
The Wider Community
- The renovation has the support of other parishes in our cluster, and in
the deanery
- The house is ideally situated being on major bus routes
Help was needed from the parish to strip the walls
- Help was needed from the parish to strip the walls and help keep costs to
a minimum
- Many volunteers worked over the Weekend of 28th May 2002

- The refreshment/dining room allows groups to take a break & relax
- The disabled facilities over 2 floors mean that no-one is excluded
